Grady Tate was an American jazz drummer and singer, best known for his work as a session musician for various artists and his time as the drummer for The Tonight Show Band. Tate performed with many notable musicians, including Quincy Jones, Ella Fitzgerald, and Ray Charles. He passed away in 2017.
