Harry 'Snub' Pollard was an Australian-born actor, writer, and director. He appeared in over 320 films, including "The Kid," "The Gold Rush," and "The Pilgrim," all of which were directed by Charlie Chaplin. After retiring from acting, Pollard became a successful director, working on films such as "The Cohens and Kellys in Africa" and "The Head Guy."
