Herbert Rudley (born March 22, 1910) was an American actor best known for his work on stage, film, and television. He appeared in more than 50 films during his career, including "The 39 Steps" (1940), "The Mouse that Roared" (1959), and "The Devil and Daniel Webster" (1941). Rudley also starred in several television shows, including "The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp" (1955-1961) and "The Beverly Hillbillies" (1962-1971). He passed away on September 9, 2006.
