Holmes Herbert
Holmes Herbert was a British actor who appeared in more than 200 films between 1915 and 1946. He played a variety of roles ranging from villains to distinguished gentlemen and also worked as a writer, director, and producer. Some of his notable film credits include The Phantom of the Opera (1925), The Cat and the Canary (1927), and The Scarlet Pimpernel (1934).
