Hugh Griffith was a Welsh actor best known for his performance in the film "Ben-Hur" in 1959, for which he won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. He appeared in over 70 films and television shows during his career, which spanned from the 1940s to the 1980s. He passed away in 1980.
