He is best known for his role as Dr. Gregory House on the Fox medical drama series "House", which earned him two Golden Globe awards and several Emmy nominations. Laurie is also a successful musician and has released several albums showcasing his piano and singing skills. He has authored three novels and has been active in various philanthropic efforts.
