Ida Kamińska
Ida Kamińska was a Polish-Jewish actress and director, born in Odessa in 1899. She was known for her work in the Yiddish theatre and played a key role in the revival of Yiddish drama in the 20th century. She also appeared in several films, including the 1977 movie "The Shop on Main Street." She died in 1980 in New York City.
