Ina Claire (October 15, 1893 – February 21, 1985) was an American stage and film actress. Known for her beauty and distinctive voice, Claire appeared in numerous Broadway productions, including the original productions of The Quaker Girl, The Awful Truth, and The Philadelphia Story. She also had a successful film career, appearing in movies such as Ninotchka and The Royal Family of Broadway.
