Irving Cummings (1888-1959) was an American actor, director, and writer. He appeared in over 100 films and directed more than 50. Cummings began his career as a stage actor before moving into film in 1914. He worked with many notable actors and actresses, including Shirley Temple, Betty Grable, and Alice Faye.
