Jackie Cooper was an American actor, director, and television executive who began his career in the industry as a child actor. He appeared in over 100 films, including several notable productions such as "The Champ" (1931) and "Treasure Island" (1934), and was also the first child actor to be nominated for an Academy Award. Cooper later transitioned into directing and worked on several popular television shows including "M*A*S*H" and "The White Shadow". He died in 2011 at the age of 88.
