James Komack was an American screenwriter, producer, and actor. He created and produced several successful television series in the 1960s and 1970s, including "The Courtship of Eddie's Father" and "Welcome Back, Kotter". Komack also acted in several films and TV shows throughout his career. He passed away in 1997.
