James Stewart was a beloved American actor known for his roles in classic Hollywood films such as It's a Wonderful Life, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, and Rear Window. He won an Academy Award for his performance in The Philadelphia Story and was a popular leading man throughout the 1940s and 1950s. He passed away in 1997 at the age of 89.
