Jan Rubeš was a Czech-born Canadian actor known for his work in film, television, and stage productions. He appeared in films such as Witness and The Decline of the American Empire, and television shows such as Due South and Road to Avonlea. Rubeš was also a talented baritone singer and performed in operas and concerts around the world. He passed away in 2009 at the age of 89.
