Jean Heather was an American actress best known for her role as the manipulative girlfriend of Fred MacMurray's character in the 1944 film "Double Indemnity." She also appeared in notable films such as "Going My Way" and "The Greatest Show on Earth." Heather retired from acting at a young age and lived a private life outside of the entertainment industry. She passed away in 1995 at the age of 72.
