Jean-Paul Belmondo was a French actor best known for his roles in the films Breathless, Pierrot le Fou, and Le Professionnel. He was a major figure in the French New Wave cinema movement of the 1960s and 1970s. Belmondo passed away on September 6, 2021 at the age of 88.
