Jimmy Durante was a comedian, singer, and actor known for his distinctive gravelly voice and prominent nose. He starred in numerous films and television programs throughout his career, and is perhaps best remembered for his signature catchphrase, "Goodnight, Mrs. Calabash, wherever you are." Durante died in 1980 at the age of 86.
