John Alderton is an English actor, writer, and director best known for his roles in television dramas and comedies, including "Upstairs, Downstairs" and "Please Sir!". He has won a BAFTA Award for his performance in "The Emigrants" in 1976. Alderton also worked as a voice actor for animated television shows and commercials.
