John Garfield
John Garfield was an American actor known for his intense and naturalistic performances in movies such as "The Postman Always Rings Twice" and "Body and Soul". He was one of the few actors to successfully make the transition from stage to screen, but his career was cut short by accusations of communist sympathies during the McCarthy era. He died suddenly at the age of 39.
