John Halas
John Halas (1912-1995) was a Hungarian-born British animator, producer, and director. Along with his wife, Joy Batchelor, he co-founded Halas and Batchelor animation studio, which produced many acclaimed animated films including the first full-length animated feature film in England, Animal Farm. Halas was a pioneer in the field of animation and made significant contributions to the development of the industry.
