John Hodiak was an American actor who appeared in numerous films throughout the 1940s and 1950s. He first gained attention for his performance in the film A Bell for Adano, and went on to star in movies such as Lifeboat, Battleground, and The Harvey Girls. He died at the age of 41 from a heart attack.
