He appeared in numerous films, including "Great Expectations," "Ryan's Daughter," and "Gandhi," and won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in "Ryan's Daughter." He was also a knighted for his contributions to the arts. Mills passed away in 2005 at the age of 97.
