John Vernon
John Vernon was a Canadian actor best known for his roles in Animal House, The Outlaw Josey Wales, and Dirty Harry. He often played tough authority figures and villains. Vernon also lent his voice to numerous animated series and films, most famously as the voice of Rupert Thorne in Batman: The Animated Series. He passed away in 2005 at the age of 72.
