Joseph Wershba was an American journalist, producer and screenwriter known for his work in the field of broadcast journalism. Born in New York City, Wershba began his career in journalism as a reporter for the New York Post in 1944. He then joined CBS News in 1950 and became part of the team that produced the legendary news program "See It Now," along with Edward R. Murrow and Fred Friendly. Wershba died in 2011 at the age of 90.
