Juanita Moore
Juanita Moore was an American actress, known for her role as Annie Johnson in the 1959 film "Imitation of Life" for which she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, becoming the fifth African American actress to be nominated in the category. She appeared in several films and television shows throughout her career, and was a respected figure in the African American community. She passed away in 2014 at the age of 99.
