Juano Hernández

Juano Hernández was an African American actor who appeared in films such as "Intruder in the Dust" and "Porgy and Bess." He often played roles that challenged racial stereotypes of African Americans on screen. Born in Puerto Rico, he spent much of his career in Hollywood and was a pioneer for black actors during a time of rampant discrimination in the industry.
