Julian Mayfield
Julian Mayfield was an American writer and civil rights activist. He wrote novels, plays and essays, and also worked as a broadcaster and journalist. Mayfield was a prominent figure in the struggle against apartheid in South Africa, and spent time living in Ghana and Cuba.
