Kazuo Hasegawa was a Japanese actor born in Tokyo in 1908. He worked in more than 300 films and was regarded as one of the Japanese film industry's greatest stars. He is best known for his roles in films such as The Life of Oharu and The Loyal 47 Ronin. Hasegawa died in 1984 at the age of 76.
