Laurence Naismith was a British character actor, born in 1908, who appeared in over 150 films and TV shows throughout his career. He was a prolific stage performer, especially in Shakespearean productions, and was noted for his distinctive voice and commanding presence on screen. Naismith passed away in 1992 at the age of 83.
