Leon Ames (1902-1993) was an American film and television actor. He appeared in over 150 films, including Meet Me in St. Louis, On Moonlight Bay, and Peyton Place. He also had a successful stage career and appeared in several TV series, including The Amos 'n' Andy Show and The Andy Griffith Show.
