Lew Fields was an American actor, comedian, vaudevillian, theatre manager, and producer. He was part of the first-generation Jewish-American performers, who dominated vaudeville and were instrumental in the early development of American musical comedy. He is best known for his collaborations with Joe Weber, with whom he formed the comedy team Weber and Fields.
