Lhakpa Tsamchoe is a Tibetan-American humanitarian, activist and former actress. She is an advocate for women's rights, education and cultural preservation. Tsamchoe's filmography includes roles in "Seven Years in Tibet" and "Brokedown Palace", among others. She has received numerous awards for her advocacy work, including the Ellis Island Medal of Honor.
