Lynne Thigpen (1948-2003) was an American actress known for her roles in "The District," "Godspell," and "The Carmen Sandiego Show." She also appeared in several films, including "Lean on Me" and "Bicentennial Man." Thigpen was also a Tony Award-winning stage actress, receiving the honor for her role in "An American Daughter" in 1997.
