Mabel Stark
Mabel Stark was a female tiger trainer who worked for Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus in the early 20th century. She was the first woman to train tigers and her act included commanding her big cats to perform various acrobatic and theatrical tricks. Despite sustaining numerous injuries throughout her career, she continued working with tigers until her death in 1968.
