Masakazu Tamura is a former professional baseball player who played for the Nippon Professional Baseball league from 1969 to 1984. He played for the Yakult Swallows and the Lotte Orions as a left-handed pitcher and was known for his exceptional control and consistency on the mound. After his playing career, he became a baseball commentator for various television networks in Japan.
