Matthew Okine is an Australian comedian, actor, and writer who has won numerous awards for his work in comedy, including the Melbourne International Comedy Festival's Director's Choice Award and the Adelaide Fringe Festival's Best Comedy Award. He is also known for his work as an author, with his debut novel, Being Black 'n Chicken, and Chips, winning the Australian Book Industry Awards' Book of the Year award in 2020.
