Max Adrian was an English actor who appeared in numerous stage productions and films during the mid-20th century. He was known for his suave and sophisticated demeanor, often playing aristocratic or upper-class characters. Some of his notable roles include Caligula in the 1946 film Caesar and Cleopatra and Uncle Ernie in the original London production of The Who's Tommy. Adrian passed away in 1973.
