M.C. Hammer, born Stanley Kirk Burrell in 1962, is an American rapper, dancer, and entrepreneur. He gained fame in the late 1980s and early 1990s for hit songs such as "U Can't Touch This" and "2 Legit 2 Quit". Hammer has also appeared in television and film, and has since launched his own record label and clothing line.
