Michael Chekhov
Michael Chekhov was a Russian actor and director who was best known for his innovative approach to acting and his work as a teacher of the craft. He was a nephew of the famous playwright Anton Chekhov and appeared in films and stage productions in both Europe and the United States throughout his career. Chekhov's technique focused on the use of the imagination and the physical body to create a performance that was truly authentic and emotionally engaging.
