Michel Simon was a Swiss-French actor who appeared in over 100 films throughout his career, including Jean Renoir's "Boudu Saved from Drowning" and "La Chienne." He was known for his ability to play both comedic and dramatic roles and was considered one of the great character actors of his time. Simon died in 1975 at the age of 80.
