Mike Africa Jr.

Mike Africa Jr. is a member of the MOVE 9, a group of black liberation activists who were imprisoned for the 1978 killing of a Philadelphia police officer. He was born and raised in the MOVE commune and spent 40 years in prison before being released in 2018. Africa Jr. now advocates for prison reform and is a public speaker.
