Mikijirō Hira was a Japanese actor born on August 26, 1924, in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan. He appeared in numerous films and television dramas, including Akira Kurosawa's "The Hidden Fortress", and won several awards throughout his career, including the Blue Ribbon Award for Best Supporting Actor in 1976. Hira passed away on July 14, 2013, at the age of 88.
