Moms Mabley
Moms Mabley was an American stand-up comedian and actress who rose to fame in the 1920s and became one of the first black female comedians in the United States. She is known for her brash persona, humorous storytelling, and unique wit, which helped pave the way for generations of female comedians to come. Mabley continued performing until her death in 1975 at the age of 81.
