Monica Vitti was an Italian actress and a quintessential icon of Italian cinema. She starred in many films including L'Avventura, La Notte, and L'Eclisse, all directed by Michelangelo Antonioni. Her career spanned over four decades, and she won a Golden Globe Award for her performance in Modesty Blaise. Vitti passed away in 2021 at the age of 90.
