Nancy Marchand (June 19, 1928 – June 18, 2000) was an American actress best known for her work on stage, film, and television. She won four Emmy Awards for her roles in the television shows Lou Grant and The Sopranos. Marchand also had notable roles in films such as Jefferson in Paris and Sabrina.
