Nelson Eddy was an American singer and actor who rose to fame in the 1930s and 1940s as a romantic lead in musical films. He appeared in over 20 films, often paired with Jeanette MacDonald. He also had a successful career as a concert and recording artist. Eddy died in 1967 at the age of 65.
