Nobuko Otowa was a Japanese actress born in 1924. She appeared in over 100 films and won numerous awards, including the Silver Bear for Best Actress at the 1964 Berlin International Film Festival. Otowa was known for her collaborations with director Kaneto Shindo, including the 1964 film "Onibaba." She passed away in 1994.
