Noël Coward was an English playwright, composer, and actor. He began his career as a child performer in London's West End, and went on to write some of the most popular plays of the 20th century, including Private Lives and Blithe Spirit. He was also a talented songwriter, and composed many famous songs, such as "Mad Dogs and Englishmen" and "I'll See You Again". Coward was known for his wit, sophistication, and impeccable style, and remains an icon of British theatre and culture.
