O.J. Simpson was a former professional football player and actor. He gained notoriety in 1994 when he was charged with the murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman, but was acquitted of the charges in 1995. He later served time in prison for unrelated charges, including armed robbery and kidnapping.
