Paul Birch was a British entrepreneur and pioneer of the mail-order music business in the 1950s. He founded Birch Brothers Ltd., which became one of the largest sellers of phonographs, records, tape recorders, and accessories in the UK. Birch also created the popular music magazine, Record Mirror. He passed away in 1965.
