Peggy Ann Garner (1932-1984) was an American actress who started her career as a child actor in the 1940s. She won an Academy Juvenile Award for her role in "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" (1945) and later appeared in other films such as "Black Widow" (1954) and "The Cobweb" (1955). After retiring from acting in the 1960s, she became an advocate for actors' rights.
